Corrections
- The Helena National Forest – page 51, caption for figure 78 should read “Williams and Pauley Ranch.”
- West side – Condon Ranger Station (old) Flathead National Forest: Fire tower was east of truck shed not north. Also from alternate ranger Rudie Kaser’s diary it noted that the truck shed was built in the summer of 1939.
- Condon Ranger Station (new) The book “Voices of the Swan” confirms that a dwelling did come from Hungry Horse Ranger Station.
- Beaverhead National Forest – Wisdom Ranger Station – the north dwelling property on the old compound was purchased in 1951. Forest Service records list the construction date of 1917 for the house.
- Upper Holland Snow Survey Cabin, Flathead National Forest: built by Scoop Scovel.
