This site is dedicated to disseminating information to supplement Vicky MacLean’s books Home on the Range, Montana’s Eastside Ranger Stations and At Home on the Woods, Montana’s Westside Ranger Stations. These books were written to preserve information about Montana’s Forest Service Ranger Stations, past and present, through photographs, historical records, and recollections of people who were involved in some way with the Forest Service. This site will provide updates, corrections, and newly discovered photographs as they become available.
